Gonna be honest. Openly co-founding a new company as your $1b edtech company tanks, and straight up cut-and-pasting the "guiding principles," while at the same time firing workers because of your own ineptitude and failure to lead effectively....can only be described as bold and fearless.

Maybe they wont notice! They, in this case, being workers, investors, the Board, and the federal government.

Does anyone else remember how often Chip came down on UPTO because - paraphrasing 'some people had entire second jobs' and take 'too much' time off?

Why do individual contributors need to have second jobs? (Ahem salary) while they are stretched so thin across many projects without any actual high level leadership vision beyond 'we are not asking you to do more with less, except when and where we are, which is always.'

Everyone at 2U is burned out and exhausted.

Meanwhile...Chip has a whole second job.
