Reduction in Force today (9/27/2023) at the San Diego location of BD. Cal-WARN ACT providing 60 days of advance warning resulted in laid off employees receiving 60 days of pay in lieu of warning.

I seem to have gotten the later effects of the layoff which happened on Friday 10/20. I was in MMS Marketing :(
No numbers but different groups and different positions
How many does the WARN notice says? In a town hall this morning they said they could not share percentage or number of employees affected. But they did say it was across BDX and different functions
I have heard Regulatory was affected.
Regarding the number of people let go, invoking Cal-WARN seems to indicate a lot of people as verbiage used for Cal-WARN says "mass layoff, relocation, or termination at a covered establishment"
I know of at least 3 people: finance and operations
Who was affected, what departments?
