Yea after 14 years as delivery contractor they are cutting 20 employees in coming weeks with no warning holiday coming people work all year just for the tip round thanksgiving and Christmas to by gifts and catch up some bills look like it’s coming to a end they could have warning us but as usual they only care bout they pocket stop working for company’s all together waste of your life

I worked 16 years for nogoodnic Gannett. They were cowards during cut backs. Told my boss he owed 4 of us a big $3 meal money because we worked over 10 hours one day. Nope. Told me they did away with it 3 months ago. Same with overtime. After I worked several overtime hours my boss said I would not get OT because I took a long ago planned vacation day that week. Rule was changed no OT until you worked 37.5 hours. Tried sc--wing us on 4th of July OT. Me & a coworker worked July 3,4 & 5th but they said they were hanging the holiday to following Monday. Told them if we don't get paid the usually 2.5 days of pay for working a holiday we would be calling out sick on day Before Thanksgiving. Busiest & largest paper if the year. They paid us our 2.5 days . Never meet so many cheap S-B'S under one roof. All the vendors hated Gannett because they always wanted free stuff & extended warranties. Never got a free pencil or pen from these cheap ba----ds. Bosses would tell us to steal them from some bodies desk.
