And now we know why ISG wasn’t decimated during the last round. Now they have a few months to get their ducks in a row, reorg, and cull the herd in Feb.
Arthur has his work cut out for him.

If the leader did not get to the top based on merit, then all he knows is how to manipulate the systems and play politics. I am shocked to see a Team in Dell that has such a leader, and he is so paranoid that his chair will be taken by more competent people around him.
Another issue is , the team cant be more smarter/capable/competent than the manager.
If the leader is not able to discriminate between skills/knowledge and political moves between his own team, he defaults to what he feels comfortable ie support those employees who can help retain his chair and play politics.
I have seen this. Dell has hired competent employees, unfortunately, they are being blocked by the political leaders.
I never saw a such a high percentage of political employees in one team in any company. Waiting to see the result of all this on business revenue.
What is the ELT up to? The "decisions /announcements" they've made recently do not seem well thought out or inspire confidence that they know where they are taking the business. Just seems like malice actions followed by knee-jerk reactions
Dell ethics policies?!? That’s a joke right?
There is an ethics vaccuum in leaders who were EMC veterans.
They dont hesitate to break every Dell ethics policy.
I have not seen anything like this.
Other companies didnt use the same infected candidate pool to lead new divisions. Dell continued its disease into the new divisions as well.
A promotion? Nope. It isn’t a promo.
The fact that JB got a promotion, is a testimonial to how decisions are being made at this org
wrong outtake but okay
