Thread regarding VMware layoffs

What can we get away with?

Hypothetically speaking, if a typical HR investigation takes about a month, it seems like we could start committing egregious violations around October 5th and be in the clear, right? :-)

Pop into the office, swap out some QR codes on printers, for guest wifi, etc.. That when scanned, will open up "goatse" or "lemonparty".

Yes, I suggest you make a rare appearance at the office and glue yourself to the carpet.

You can still light a bag of po-p in front of Magoo’s office door.

You realize the company isn't truly going away, don't you? Why is this concept lost on people? HR data is being sent to Broadcom. If you start stealing proprietary information now it will be Broadcom that judges you. If your employment is not retained, then can still explore legal rights to sue you for your actions.

I suggest you test your hypothesis.

Go back into the office na--d and see how long the HR investigation takes.
