Dell Shorted Me on Commission

I was part of Dell's latest round of WFRs in August. I received my final commission cheque at the beginning of September but they shorted me about $2k compared to what SCORE was telling me at EOQ. I inquired with payroll why I was shorted and they said they raised my storage quota by $40k which brought my total attainment down from 208% to 188%. Can they do this after the quarter ends without informing me? We have to agree to and sign our quotas, so I'm not sure how they can unilaterally change it after the quarter ends. I'm sure they have some sort of legal cr-p they can use to justify it but it's still wild to me.
Anyways, does anyone have any recommendations of what I should do? Should I get my old leaders involved and see if there is anything they can do internally? Not really sure where else I can turn and legal fees would be far higher than the $2k they shorted me...

Severance includes access to the EAP for 36- months, which includes some legal assistance. The number for the EAP will be in the severance papers you were sent the day you were notified.

Contact the Texas Workforce Commission. Provide your signed quota letter and your SCORE attainment. Calculate your expected payout based on you attainment in score vs. what you were paid. A judge or attorney will assigned a case number and ask you and Dell to submit/share your supporting evidence. A hearing will be scheduled and take place with you representing yourself and Dell HR and Dell attorney. Just present your case and you will win. Payout by Dell is required by law in a week or two.

This happened to me 10 years ago. I won $23k.

There is no accountability for those involved in calculating quotas and payouts. I’ve been hit with paying back a concession on Dell’s part, had to pay back $10k.

My field person had to pay back $40k because compensation incorrectly rolled a product that later didn’t qualify, wasn’t their fault.

so your storage quota was 200k? for a q or h? seems very low eitherway..

Contact a legal advisor.... Dell always tries to offer/pay the minimum, even if it is illegal. Dell HR rules

You got severance right? Is the severance > than what you were shorted?

If so you have no legal recourse unless you want to forgo the severance
