Once the merger is completed, get rid of people who work less than half their official hours. VMware has plenty of those, and most of them are in some level of management. You know who I'm talking about. Every single one of us knows a few of them. Get rid of them and we'll be good to go.

Why do VMWare employees keep referring to this as a merger? It's an acquisition. There's no merging about it.
If you do not commute 4 hours a day and work in an office for 8 hours a day, you cannot be productive.
Does it matter? Either you get laid off or go work for an awful company. Its a lose-lose outcome.
