I heard additional email servers were being provisioned to guarantee everyone received the email at the exact same time. For some reason, they are only adding servers in San Diego.
email send to the affected employee's with follow steps to the exit process, and manager stop by in person and tell other's you are safe. I think!
there will be a loud's "dang" and whisper's "pheeew" will come out of you all ... peace !
At SD layoff scale, email is the only option.
