One of the most compelling sales tactics used by the field in the last twenty years was how proficient AFLAC was paying claims. When the ONE DAY PAY initiative was rolled out, there were many in the field that were using this enhancement as their primary reason for an applicant to buy. The field was amazed when the system brought the average claims turn around down from three days to one. The market responded and AFLAC leadership made sure to advertise how effective the claims department was in processing claims. They discussed and praised the success of the initiative on a multitude of investor calls and were sure to launch and maintain aggressive advertising campaigns. Millions signed up for coverage because of this. Since the significant operational changes due to the massive fraud being committed in the field came to light in early 2018, the claims department was targeted by AFLAC leadership, most notably, FORMER President Teresa White. It was the operational changes due to the fraud, theft, intimidation, extortion, and retaliation that was reported and the consistent mistreatment of countless long standing and competent leads and supervisors that caused escalating delays in the processing of claims. There were reports of this predator coming to the claims department and threatening jobs if the claims process did not improve. Having claims paid correctly and expeditiously is the cornerstone of any insurance carrier. The fact that easy accident claims that were once paid in less than 24 hours are now taking weeks to process and many times not paid correctly when they are, is NOT the promise that the field has made to the people. Regardless of the criminal behavior on the battlefield that leadership has endorsed and protected for over a decade, paying claims was the one accolade that AFLAC maintained. Long standing, loyal, ethical, and competent employees are being run out of the operation for voicing concerns. At what point will YOU actually stand up for not only the rights of YOU and YOUR families, but also for the countless families that are being hurt by the direction that Dan Amos and his #foulleadership are bringing our once great brand? When will the Columbus employees stand up and demand change? When will YOU hold the brand accountable? All who sin apart from the law will also perish apart from the law, and all who sin under the law will be judged by the law. Romans 2:12

Yes sir, General.
I agree... I worked in claims @ Aflac. This was one of the worst companies I have ever worked for. You are treated just as a number. They say "Welcome to the family" when they hire you. If they treat family like this how do they treat enemies??? People in Columbus are also scared to voice their concerns because this company was founded in Columbus.
