When we return merchandise and then after they leave, we notice they have switched the tags, has anyone ever voided the transaction?? It had been happening a lot lately. I want to void it but I’m sure that would cause more problems.

Whatever happened to matching up the item to the tag and receipt?? If you are not doing this prior to completing the return ..I say you will be a targeted cashier by scammers. It's the same thing when you process a sale... They can easily put a Karen Scott tag on a MK item.
We have done it at our store when we find out we were scammed. They never come back
You can not do that. Once the transaction has gone through (not stopped right @ POS) its over. It isn't like a fraud charge on you're card. There (believe it or not) legal complications.
Can it be said without a doubt that the ticket switch was done for that transaction that the return is for? That's a can of worms being opened right there.
