BC will not put up with it.

LOL. BC has DEI. If you get chosen to stay, please try not to act surprised. If you work in tech, you'll be around DEI. If you don't want it, you can always go to another industry.

Get rid of DEI. Companies and business are going soft when they implement DEI. Hiring someone because they fit into the bucket needed is not right. The person that is most qualified for the job should get the job. ALL DEI supporters need to go whine and find a new job because BC will not put up with it. All I can say is that I look forward to working for BC. Get rid of DEI in all aspects of the world!!!

DEI agendas are there because the markets and investors demand it to present an ethical investment for pension funds etc. In the real world nobody really gives a f@@k about diversity, non-binaries, % non-white employees etc - it's about earnings per share, f@@k all else.

BC have a DEI agenda because they have to, VMW didn't understand what it meant and f@@ked over a strong and well placed company by letting a bunch of do-gooders (Pat and Betsy - looking at you) take it too far.

One, you're conflating efforts and results. Two completely different things.

Two, is that the group you think DEI targets? The primary target for VMware has been female employees. That's it. Not even going into skin color. If your definition of DEI isn't the same as the company's, then there's no use in having conversations.
