I wonder how it will be negotiating with Chinese auto companies on the next contract?
The price of new cars is silly and unaffordable but for those who buy one anyway, where is all the money going too? Obviously, it is not the workers because they are striking for more money. There must be a money leak that someone needs to find and plug. Who is taking more than their share? Is the paperwork trail honest or some fudging of numbers? The real bonuses need to be paid to those who sniff out the money leaks and not to executives.
Kamala Harris, a household-name with the UAW rank and file, will join the GM picket line on Tuesday to show her support. The specific location has not been announced yet.

First they went on strike at Stellantis, and I did not speak out—because I was not a Stellantis employee.
Then they went on strike at GM, and I did not speak out—because I was not a GM employee.
Then they settled with Ford - and auto sales were bountiful and the times were good.
I figure that trade in values will go up. Then I'll have to go foreign for obvious reasons👎
If your car needs service, better take it in soon while they still have parts.
