I heard they will not offer anymore VSIP because they do not have people to fill the voids if too many take it. So instead they just continue to chop without fixing future employee issues.
If you can get VSIP, take it.

Makes my blood boil every time we have mandatory "ETHICS" training. Most unethical company I've worked for. Stopped funding our pension plan, lost a week's vacation at the 20 year mark etc. .
Ricoh North American “leadership” could easily be replaced by virtual receptionists and an Excel sheet with a few IF, Then, Else formulas.

Ricoh leadership is unfortunately truly clueless about what’s going on in the field, they proved it again today with almost 50 minutes of “ that’s a great question , but I can’t answer it!” I’ve never been more fearful of not making it to retirement! Bi--hin betty is yelling …”terrain, pull up, terrain, pull up “…. but our pilot is listening to podcasts on diversity so loud with his eyes closed he can’t see the impending crash!
Every guy over 60 got the axe on my team
Maybe it’s time all of the technicians start talking to union representatives. Maybe that would help secure future jobs and get proper pay.
Xerox pulling out of Dupra…..Ricoh you sure you want to be losing technicians? Instead maybe focus on what is right in front of you.
They asked myself and five other technicians if we would be interested in a early separation package last Monday. We all said yes on Monday and then on Friday they told us it wasn't going to happen because too many people wanted it , so they are just laying people off. They need to look in the mirror and ask why everyone wants out.
After this wave is over, anyone still with Ricoh is in for a Very. Rough. Ride.
3 in our city and 1 manager.
Technician jobs have always been the currency the use to balance the budget when they get behind.
Dealer techs and outsourcing?
I am not sure what they are thinking. They do not have enough technicians working currently and now they laid off a bunch of them? Way to shoot yourself in the foot.
We were not affected and our manager said nothing, that's why I'm asking.
