Some Sr.Directors in Core Sales are now telling ICs that they are on a pick list of potential hires and freaking them out. This will not end well. The way VMware has handled this and the politics and behaviour afterwards have convinced me that I no longer belong here. It's sad to see.

I would not be surprised if there are some already created lists.
Most SVPs are under NDA, this means they have been asked to provide some data. I assume it is account tiering - not people tiering.
I would also assume BC has been given sales history and pipeline reports.
Between the account tiering, and the account potential, BC will decide which Client Executives will survive.
Being an IC in the core is not a guarantee of keeping your job. I believe BC is prepared to take direct coverage away from a lot of clients.
This just isn’t true.
Leave then, or wait to see which list you're on.
Broadcom will make the ultimate decision as to who they offer to, and who gets a severance offer.
Sales leader here have had no such list or communication that that effect
no one has heard anything pre letters rolling out mid to late october
Does this mean pick list, as in a short list of people that will get full time offers from Broadcom?
I'm a core rep in the Midwest, how I'm I screwed? Enlighten me, please.
The core is so out of touch they are just now realizing how screwed most of them are.
Maybe I'm missing something here. How is this any new revelation to those ICs and why are they stressing over it? Literally everyone is in that same spot.
Why would they freak out if they are on the list I don’t get it
Is this stressful because the ICs think they will be entered into a cage match? I don’t see how it is any more stressful than not knowing anything until October. That being said, the message “on a list of candidates” is worthless because that describes everyone.
Most sales directors are an absolute joke. Idk how ICs deal with the level of stress.
Just the latest cr-p from vmware mgmt that is in over their head. Broadcom probably doesn’t make it any easier, as they don’t want to deal with these id--ts either.
