Thread regarding Union Pacific Corp. layoffs

Run them in run them out

From my experience at 40 years old now I've noticed not to many younger people want to turn wreches or be electricians better hold off on the layoffs we are not even back at half the employees at our shop many did not come back and when you do start to hire word will get out be worried every day you might get laid off and yes no weekends no 1st shift so come work for up for a couple of months then loose your job I don't think that is a good plan they are betting on ww3

It is obvious to me the exec’s dont realize the qu----e training sessions and the small computer aides do not adequately educate employees to a competent level. A new hire should be surrounded by many experienced wise veteran employees everyday for at least a few years until they are trusted to be competent and by themselves. But that “expense” is too high for the shareholders. They think blue collar work is easy intellectually and meanwhile playing graba$$ in an office, perusing online, and eating donuts in between looking busy while sitting at a desk is for the intellectuals.

The younger msos are getting trained to do brakes and water and oil and its a joke can't even use tools properly someone will get hurt they were not hired as mech nor electricians. Failures will come because they are not trained to open doors and look they don't even know what they are looking at. No inbound process equals failed units you can't fix something 5 mins before you give it to the customer id--t
