Are there any layoffs in sales and marketing this October/November?

SOP. Oct or Nov and again in Jan before SKO. One has to wonder how much money is wasted on unused flights.
Tech sales I heard will be Dec. Challenge will be telling staff to book arrangements for SKO knowing full well they won't be around come Jan.
It’s certainly not “draconian” to protect our country from parasites.
@jhyv+1oIKZTbQ new logo sellers were rubbed out of a few geo's earlier this year. If there are no new logo sellers, then it's back to trying to milk existing customers. McK is again demonstrating their incompetance. After all this is a bunch of consultants that advocated for the draconian immigration policies of ICE and Trump.
Are we letting go of the new logo sales? Wait, wasn't that another one of the McK and NC + friends initiatives, as well as stopping all marketing, starting a ton of war rooms, and burdening us with 100 initiatives? Wow, we spent $30M+, with no accountability for results, and NC is still mincing around TDC. Staggering.
Lay-offs in tech sales coming in December. US teams will be hit the hardest with 10% reduction being asked.
New logo seller headcount was reduced in August. I'm hearing tech sales needs to be reduced soon. More likely they'll do a big round in early Jan like they did this year.
Does a bear s$$t in the woods?
Can't wait
Well NCR is in Wack-a-Mole mode right now. Maybe TDC could contract with some of their Project Managers as independent contractors. That would make it easier to ditch the over paid Teradata teams. IBM might even be able to do it for less.
Heard it’s in November first week
Anyone hear any rumors?
Be sure to watch for a 15-minute meeting request. If you get one, get your resume ready.
Odd that marketing has had 4(?) recent departures, and has 2 upcoming retirements.
Yet only 1 of those positions has been posted on the careers page. Maybe that will save a few roles from the rif.
The last half dozen years or so marketing laid off ~7-20% of the team each year, usually in the annual Oct/Nov layoff. Why would this year be any different?
Sales has already had scattered layoffs this year, as mentioned in many posts below.
(Wasn’t one year’s layoff in January though? Was that the 2018-2019 layoff perhaps, when HQ moved back to San Diego and there was a lot of transition and new hires in fall 2018?)
Hint you are on the list...you are Director level or higher and have been disinvited to any upcoming sales or marketing lt gatherings.
DS & brown nose VPs and directors made their hit list long ago.
As the youngsters say…well, duh.
