Thread regarding Dish Network layoffs

Dish is Advertising Your Job

It's happening, Dish is starting to post job ads to backfill the non-Colorado Boost Mobile people it's laying off.

It's a shame as they're letting go a lot of great people who deserve better.

Whoever lands in this spot is going to endure a lot of grief for relatively little money. The benefits are also pretty miniscule.

Personally I wouldn't touch any Dish job with a ten foot pole.

They laid off half of the marketing team, they have to backfill some roles you mo--n! Unfortunately they needed to hire right away as most of the team is exiting in 2 weeks and the whoever is left is barely keeping it together. There is no way any new hire is going to be able to navigate Dish’s archaic processes. But maybe they won’t need to, Dish may be too far in the red to afford marketing.

Dish is laying off the hiring manager for this job as they've apparently outlasted their usefulness to the company.
