Been contracted to WWT for over five years, and I have watched good managers told "find something else internally in 30 days or leave." Even from the outside, I have watched this company fully and willingly succumb to every demand from DEI initiatives. It has rotted from the inside out, and it is no longer even a shadow of its former self; it is something else entirely different. The silver lining is my contract is ending. Given my demographic, "redeployment" is unlikely, so it's time to try and find some place that still has a grip on its own identity and sanity.

DEI practices are illegal. From the US Equal Opportunity Employment Commission. As a general rule, race/s-x can’t even be a “motivating factor”—nor a plus factor, tie-breaker, or tipping point. When you manipulate non-white people as a competitive advantage it’s abhorrent, racist, and illegal. Their gain is the financial benefits DEI brings. I promise you they’ve never once thought about your empowerment.
You may be a white guy who enjoyed 5 years of nice and cozy work environment among others who are same “group” as you. DEI is needed to empower minorities and change their lives. You can’t still treat minority group as slaves. I worked at WWT and I know how it feels to be minority in the meeting room with full of whites. As a company WWT is going in right direction.
