Qualcomm management doesn’t care about you as an employee. They want to move the whole operation to India and other departments to cheaper labor outside the US. Why do you think that HR doesn’t take any complaints about India work seriously. Tell everyone you know to boycott anything made by Qualcomm. Maybe if their bottom line is affected, then they will listen, but I doubt it. BOYCOTT QUALCOMM PRODUCTS! They will no longer be a U.S. Company!

It is not only at Q. All major businesses in USA growing lot in India. The obvious reasons is reasonably talented labor in cheap cost..Boeing has opened huge design center in Bangalore. Even if only 50%of workforce are talented and hardworkers, still is is cost effective..It is reality..A country with 1.4 billion population with most of them are poor and ambitious will definitely benefits rich and big corporations.

Definitely no doubt US and Europeans are smart and innovative. But monetising ain’t not just about innovation and patents. Handling 100s of code branches and merging and testing and bug fixes can be easily done by cheaper cost. When you think you guys are smart then the world is big and go and find your stuffs or start something your own. This world is all about beating one another in once own way sometimes without you knowing about it. At the end guys everything known to humans are following a Gaussian curve. Starts with zero and raises and then colllapses. Not even any company is tolerant to this

I have little faith in engineers in India. They haven’t even learned to use deodorants. If basic life skills evade them, how could they create the future.

The board and CEO have decided not to employ people at the cost of American salary. They feel it is more capital efficient to hire people in India while paying them Indian salary.
You should really be upset at the board and CEO for taking such a decision. Same goes with ALL manufacturing jobs sent to China. CEOs in the US decided to ship the jobs overseas to enrich themselves.

This is the new future. Get used to it. Save your money cause your kids will need it a lot sooner then you think. Already 50% of young adults are living with parents mainly because it cost so much already. Wait till AI takes over more jobs worldwide. Then what are we going to do? We will definitely see an increase in crime due to shortage of income. Life is about to get a lot tougher for everyone in USA and outside of USA. AI will surely and slowly cause an extinction of human kind, just as e-commerce (online shopping) has slowly cause the extinctions of department and book stores.

Last time qcom asked trump to save them from hock tan since 5G is critical for national security. qcom is now exporting national security to low cost regions.wtf May be something to write about to congress and president.

Some VP in IT said that there will be more layoffs in the US and less in other remote locations like India. It looks like what the OP is saying makes sense.
