Hearing that more and significant layoffs are coming in the next few weeks. Whole departments or what’s left of them are likely to be impacted. Cutting the cord swiftly instead of drawing out the inevitable leading in to the holidays is the absolutely most insensitive culture decision. What’s word on the street?

Ref “i was a long-term employee that had been there for years. My knowledge was seen as a threat several times to Kelly leadership”
Really? You think that’s why you were canned - because of your ‘knowledge’? Maybe because of your hubris, more like.
I was a long-term employee that had been there for years. My knowledge was seen as a threat several times to Kelly leadership. Exactly 1 day after the layoffs were announced I was terminated with complete and total laughable lies provided as the reason for termination. I’m assuming they wanted to prevent me from collecting severance pay. Funny though, just two days earlier, I told my wife… Living on unemployment would be much less stressful than dealing with the toxic management of Kelly Services… and it actually is! Lol
My manager told me this round and other rounds to come all planned out by KPMG/corporate months ago. Sinking ship. In OCG our business outlook su-ks in MSP. There betta be a course change soon.
Yes I was impacted last week. This round does seem a little smaller. I noticed at least 30 on LinkedIn. Anyone know how this round was decided.
Think there were more today.. seeing some old colleagues posting the sad news on LinkedIn.
The board is asleep at the wheel why leadership makes stupid decisions after stupid decisions. So disheartening. October will be more layoffs.
Drove past the HQ today at around 1. Maybe 20 cars in the parking lot...
Word on my Kelly street is same. Feels like I’m working at a failing company. That last round of layoffs hurt bad - everyone now spends half their day looking for a new job. I get nothing from corporate, they’ve gone dark. Everyone knows we don’t have the right leaders - but why doesn’t the Board act?
