There is a full time staff who reads the posts here and convinces TheLayoff to delete the opinions that put executives or company strategy in a bad light.
NetApp has become a cult of overpaid order takers and corporate thugs. Like Scientology they spend money to protect the scam. So called "leaders" like Octavian are just enforcers.
Look at the money wasted on SolidFire ..... Hyper converged and cloud. It's now just a ponzi scheme.

Haha maybe if they did their f*cling normal jobs, NetApp wouldn’t be such a dumpster fire because HR would be so business telling in the Executive Mgt Team and out of control VPs, who should really be the ones let go. Get out now while you still can!
It's not that NetApp has leverage but their legal deparment sends out frequent cease and desist letters to TheLayOff on a weekly basis.
I don't really think netapp has any leverage over thelayoff. IF companies had autonomy over this board, then I think most of it would have already been shutdown.
This is one of the most ridiculous things I've read on this site. Every thread is about something "in a bad light". It's a layoff site!
And to think anyone at NetApp has influence over thelayoff.com is beyond silly. If that were the case there would be zero threads about NetApp.

When you post here, on Glassdoor or on any other social media, you can bet that HR is reading it cause it’s their job to read anything written about 3M, but they lack the power to remove these posts since they don't own or control these platforms.
HR can only flag posts that are illegal or breach the platform's rules, and only if that turns out to be true, the post gets pulled by site mods/site owners.
To ensure your post remains intact, make sure it complies with the platform’s rules: avoid offensive language, personal attacks, and naming non-executive individuals. When critiquing management, center your feedback on their performance rather than their appearance or personality.
And that’s how any of us can write a hush truth that doesn’t get taken down from social media.

Hey. Whoever posted this. I am sure someone cares about you. I hope you get the help you need. This rant is a little unhinged. NetApp is a Corporation like every other corporation in the world. They care about making money for the board. Not even the main shareholders anymore. Just the board level types. People are numbers on a spreadsheet to any publicly traded company. Welcome to capitalism. It isn't a conspiracy if it is out in the open.
I'm glad my netapp overlords are so interested in the cr-p I have to post here, maybe they can listen to some differing perspectives, learn and grow. At this stage I assume my work laptop is loaded with keylogging spyware too and treat it as an almost toxic device. It's a great sign of weakness to have to so desperately try to control other people, rather than attempt direct and honest communication: it might be time to leave.
How long until mandatory return to office? Given these tendencies it can't be long.
