It’s so much easier to try to hold on to what’s known and easy, but this could be a wake up opportunity to better your skills or find something better and more meaningful. The sooner you deal with your fears the sooner your situation improves. I’m grateful for my time here. Also looking forward to the next chapter whatever that may be.

Well it's kinda so as other companies will follow suit. It is becoming "generate income or perish" mentality all across the sector.
It is severance or perseverance from now
It‘s not all doom and gloom, it’s squid games and there will be a winner! It could be you!
