Thread regarding Sabre Holdings layoffs

Another round of layoffs going on now??

I saw a post of a person who was just let go from Sabre, despite having recently (July) received a raise. Is this a one-off situation or more people are getting their notice? Please share. This is very disheartening but I would rather know than be kept in the dark by the company.

Yeah I know about the planned costs. My question is more specific about this part

"planned RIF in Sep. Next round is Dec."

So whether there were some SPECIFIC plans or announcements about RIF in Dec. I dont care about whole 2023 and 2024 planned budget so come on.

Not sure why this is asked over and over again, they announced layoff costs for 2023 and 2024. For 2023 it was 50m and for 2024 another 25m. Back in May it was the big wave..now is more smaller ones to come and probably more unplanned as the money aren't coming in with so many customer's they have lost.

The people working on transformation won't be needed when the transformation funding ends at the end of the year.
