I really hope they are not expecting us to print our own severance agreements from emails and that there is an electronic way to sign and return agreements to expedite everything.

With signed severance agreement, severance starts effective 10/22/2023. I certainly hope it does not take them until mid-December to process first severance payments!!! That is almost 2 months with no pay for people! It would be best to review, sign and return agreements so you can enroll in COBRA ASAP and start making payments for benefits effective 11/1/2023. This will help minimize gaps.
I spoke to Colleague Relations today. For those laid off on with a separation date of 10/21: We should be getting an email on approx 9/21 with our severance package info. My last “full paycheck” will be 10/15. On 10/31, I will get paid for 10/16 - 10/21. I should expect PTO payout the first week in Nov. COBRA kicks in on 11/1. Severance will be paid out on our normal pay schedule (15th and last day of the month). Severance should start roughly mid-December.
Timing was around 30 days before termination date (10/21), so likely within a week or so
I was laid off 8/15 and haven't received my severance package yet
tI will likely be explained once you get your severance packet, but my understanding is it will be paid out over within a few paychecks after termination date (e.g. 10/21)
