I really understand the forced move and return to office. Moving my family 500 miles away to go to a new office where cost of living is double to talk to Pune on the phone is a baller move. Wait you say I could have talked to Pune from my previous home? Never crossed my mind😂

AT&T is currently doing the same thing. Co-location and massive RIFs
Don’t bank on a severance package anymore. Read the current, cut down package and pg 6. They can legally give you nothing now
Here's the thing. There's no guarantee anyone who moves will keep their job anyway. This forced RTO relocate or else is a veiled layoff. It's just that they're using this to skirt severance packages and other benefits by making people quit before they get officially cut.
Fiserv isn't the only company doing it but they're taking their playbook straight from Amazon and Jp Morgan for RTO.
well guess what, another severance package saved because YOU didn't move your entire life to new office.
