Lazy sh--s need to get back to the office. I know when I returne…… wait, no, no I never actually got sent home, to my home, during covid… as a field tech I got sent straight into several hundreds of other peoples homes. While being told the company and managers care about me and my health.
To show how much they cared, they gave us a huuuge bonus of $0.00
That may not seem like a lot, but when you add it all up hourly, it represents just how much they appreciate us, and what they’ll do to keep employees happy. Added all together, hourly, along with overtime we were forced to work, (more on that later) along with our bonus that year, it comes to $0.00.
So I have exactly that much sympathy for people who are crying about having to go in to an office. You saved tons of money on gas for a couple years, watched Netflix, and paid no child care costs for the whole time. I’m sure it was great while it lasted, but the party is over now.
Now, the area I work is a 6 man shop according to the bean counters. We had 3 during covid, actually we had 3 for a year before covid and they only hired 1 right after covid. So the company that cares about me made us work overtime in order to go in more nasty a-s houses so they could work from home..
Shut up and go to work….
Managers should never WFH. Rediculous.
