I left Nielsen years ago for another opportunity. But I feel like I missed out on severance pay by quitting instead of getting laid off. For those who remain, I wonder if leadership will try to save more money by making Nielsen more like Elon Musk's "Hardcore" Twitter. That is to say, make working at Nielsen su-k so much that people quit in order to save money that would have been otherwise spent on their severance packages.

I was let go in January and received a decent severance package. I was hired 4 months later, still using severance pay. The new job pays me more than Nielsen did and there is zero stress!
