SSMs will be moved to Costa Rica. They speak English down there, are in the NASA time zone, and they cost a whole lot less. How could cost-conscious Broadcom do anything else?

CSm is free, ssm is paid for. So better chance for ssm staying since contracts are in place. TAM is the same way. CSMs on the other hand may not be needed.

Not sure. CSM could pick up the duties of the SSM. Or SSM might pick up the duties of the CSM. Really hard to say, but I don't think we will have both CSM and SSMs going forward.

SSM is safer than most others in Support/CxS etc...these recent jobs are part of supporting high value customers. BCs priority 😉
