QCOM stock woes

BRCM - "We signed a deal with Apple to supply a component needed for 5G" - Stock goes up by $200
QCOM - "We signed a deal with Apple to supply the whole 5G modem" - Stock goes up by $2.

Sums it up I guess

With everything you all have been doing to the world In a large scale . Justice will be served whether anyone likes it or not . I'm never going to be beat . I'm magical . I'm the one to save you all and you just keep messing up . It's time time take you all to the limits of yourself to be completely honest with your doings to the whole of the world .

Another Broadcom troll looking to bring Qualcomm down. It is inconceivable how obsessed Broadcom is with Qualcomm. So we didn’t let Hock Tan buy us. Big deal, move on. It is not healthy to be so focused on something outside your control.

If you don't like the way QCOM stock behaves, sell it is buy something that you think is better. Nobody is forcing you to hold QCOM stock.

What is unvested is not yours anyway.

If the fruit didn't renew the contract, Q stock would have sinked at least 20%. The real stock gain here is +25% for Q. This is probably the last chance for Q, 3 years to diversify or die!

The difference is Broadcom got a new income stream, while Qualcomm maintained it's already established income for a while, huge differentiator for stocks valuations.
