If all goes well - category 5. Signing offer in new job next week.
People need to realize that only they, and they alone are responsible for your future. VMware owes you nothing. It's just another business. You need to decide what's best for you, leave now, leave then, hope for the best - up to you.
The matter of fact is, it is hard to find a job RIGHT NOW - wait for layoffs and you have 100s, if not 1000s of more competition from people with similar skills so make sure that if waiting for severance is what you want - you got enough reserves to keep you above water, but that will dry up quickly right now.
Wherever you think you belong or wherever your managers think you belong, it’s not going to matter one bit.
You cannot take it personally. Unless they kept you, which means excel indicated you were underpaid.
Again, you cannot take it personally. Most people you know are going to get screwed. There’s too many people to sort through to consider individual merits at the lowly P3-6 levels.
Su-ks but it is what it is - VMware was once cool and you got to work for that company.
I can tell you from being 10 months on the other side, nobody gives a sh-t. They’re Novell Networks with a DEI program
Pat gel slinger. Hello from the quantum field here!
I'm a quantum particle of perfection.
I am the best that vmware has.
I am Darkwing Duck.
I will be in all four categories at the same time.
The category that doesn't post d-mb questions to waste everyone's time.
No idea, and our managers don't know either...
