Most candid advice given on this board. We need to be prepared and ditch this org at the first opportunity. Do not have any loyalty towards CVS. This is a simple 9-5 business interaction nothing more. Keep it that way. Don’t put in extra efforts to deliver results. Fruits of your labor will be enjoyed by the senior leadership and they will let anyone go in a heart beat. Lesson learnt treat them the same way as they treat you. Don’t fall for empty words and HAW points. DO NOT TRUST the current Digital VP’s, SVP’s and people above.

The better prepared you are, the less control your employer (CVS, other) has over you. Having been thru a few of these, the best advice I can give you is to become as financial independent from your job as possible. I'm willing to bet the ones that stressed the most this past week weren't financial positioned to whether a layoff. Never let a company have that much control over you. You can do it.

This is the very best advice. Always be prepared for a sudden job elimination. It happens alot
