RSUs newbie question

I am a new hire and have a question regarding RSUs, After laying off, are all the RSUs gone ?

RSU = Restricted Stock Unit.

Generally the 'Restricted' part of this is time. The annual vest date is when this particular restriction ends.

Anything not vested is returned.

Dear HR. Don’t let this guy be gone in this layout. Looks he’ll willingly sue you guys once he loses unvested RSU.

If you've been here a year, and you're being laid off you will get the RSUs that vest in November, all the other RSUs that were vesting the next 2 years from those grant are gone. If you've been here less than a year you probably lose all your RSUs.
