I noticed today that in order to see the pages for CVS or Aetna on LinkedIn now require you to have a work email that they then verify before you can even SEE anything.

Stop with the disinformation. This is a feature LinkedIn has had for years with every company, and it does prevent the public from seeing their actual posts.
It’s not private/locked there is just some employee only content they post from time to time that requires you to verify your company email address to see it. I was asked last year to verify my employment to access it.
not sure what you are talking about - it's open and viewable! stop with the false information.
I was just easily able to pull up both CVS and Aetna LinkedIn pages in private mode and not logged in. Same posts as I have in my app. So not sure what you’re talking about.
