Thread regarding CVS layoffs

Where are you going to apply?

I'm asking those who were laid off. I'm considering leaving the industry.

So many other good companies to apply to. no need to leave the industry.

Applied to Point32Health, they have a number of Aetna/CVS contacts that I knew and have been helpful in referring me to leaders

Take a deep look at everything you did at CVS, you likely have many skills that would apply at any company in any industry. Back office and support functions are often similar even if the core company product is dramatically different. I'm in the midwest and we have many industries you could switch to: aerospace and defense, banking, finance, insurance, education, tech, heavy machinery, food and beverage (think MillerCoors and ConAgra, not working in a restaurant), hospitality (Hyatt corporate, casinos), retail, medical supplies, hospitals, travel, consulting, manufacturing, local governments (city, county, state). Think creatively, this is your chance to get out of a rut and find something you would actually enjoy.

I am probably out of this industry as well. Going back to the provider side. More job security.
