Just came out of meeting with the SVP who mentioned that 98% of affected individuals have been notified in the last 2.5 days. No more layoffs are expected moving forward, although there's no 100% guarantee. The message was clear.

Meanwhile Karen, Michelle and Prem are MIA. Even the annoying CVS Heartbeat will stop beating until next Tuesday
Wave is not over ! Stop spreading false news. Your SVP is misinformed or better yet lying to you. Wake up ding do-g
Way to go CVS. What a shame you are as a company that has ZERO level of trust with the people that make the clock move in the right direction. People work so hard here and you make us wait 2 weeks to know if we are getting ax’d and the way you did it is so embarrassing not to us but to you. It’s like waiting on death row when you have mouths to feed and bills to pay. Be transparent CVS. The truth is much easier than a lie.
They haven't told everyone yet About the layoffs. Service Ops all of it is breaking the news to it's lower level workers Today and Friday. The number as was stated before is more than 5000 total much higher so it's tight lipped.
It is completed. However, now the real fun begins in shifting people all over the place. No telling what any of the ones remaining will be doing next month, who their manager might be , anything. There's going to be alot of shifting in roles. It will be accept it or resign. All in the name of a once in a generation opportunity to fix healthcare, or something like that.
The layoffs are not over yet. There were additional layoffs announced at Aetna CSM (Care Service Management) after the initial layoffs on Monday.
It's not over. All departments were given the Green Light to get rid of all lousy workers in all departments if they choose to. This will go through until October. Congenial bad and low average workers are not staying.
"I think it is legit based on what I heard, only ones not notified yet have been on PTO"
This is false.
My manager reports directly to a VP
Once Karen's email went out the VP has cancelled all 1:1s with him. He's very hands off with our team but the increased silence has been quite detrimental to our respect of him as a leader.
Our manager reached out to him Monday to outright ask if our team is safe and it's been silence.
I assume we're all safe at this point but really I just stopped caring. No "you're safe" and no "by the way you guys are done".
Either way this whole roll out was so poorly done. I saw the layoffs coming months ago and was clear as day. I just thought they would be in October after the rto next month.
I’m not believing anything senior leadership says about this topic forwardly. It wasn’t done thoughtfully, and the business is in upheaval. We restructure to achieve strategy? Chaos, confusion , loss of customer goodwill and pain is the target? If so, nailed it.
@pfk+1o8v0Tg5 what company wide email?
I think it is legit based on what I heard, only ones not notified yet have been on PTO
If it’s a team meeting, it means that all of you will be keeping your jobs and they’d announce some kind of new structure in leadership or team.
I’d be worried if it’s one on one meeting.
But there was a company wide email today that it’s not over?
The layoffs are complete. the ones impacted are already notified. The rest of the meetings and town halls are about the complete restructuring of the company. If you're still alive at this point you're good until the next layoff in a year or so.
wave over maybe in your business unit....not others
Are you sure? I thought more happens this week. My boss set up a meeting with our team tomorrow at 4p and it’s emergency meeting so has me scared. Have all day today and tomorrow wondering what it could be
I hope that’s correct as our boss called a emergency meeting for 4p tomorrow and it was sent at 11a today so now wondering all day and tomorrow what it means. Wow they already announced close to 5k already. I though only 25-40% were announced mon and Tue and then another oercentage Thur and Fri this week and the rest on Sept/oct
