This is old news and apart of the closing/consolidation effort already announced. Has nothing to do with the layoffs. Stop with the fear mongering!

this is not news and nothing to do with current layoffs - it was announced over a year ago that stores are being closed - Walgreens is just following the same model....just stop with craziness

It was announced in 2021 that CVS would be closing 900 locations over 3 years.

Commercial real estate is expensive, even on lease. More stores should be closed. They don't make money, the store-level employees struggle to get hours, and the customers are beyond frustrated with poor service due to the low amounts of staffing.
