I think that is what's next. Re-org after the layoffs. Likely in a way that makes no sense and that will need to be corrected shortly by another re-org.

I’ve changed teams frequently due to re-orgs or random teammates leaving to be pulled into other teams with barely any notice.
Right now I’ve been with my team awhile, and we’ve learned each other’s working styles, personalities, and are in a really great place. CVS seems to have no consideration for what all this change does to teams and individuals. I have to start over and build bonds with new people, our team goes from having established processes to figuring out how this new team does it.
Why doesn’t leadership care about the drain on productivity all these re-orgs causes? I just got over the last shakeup, was feeling good about team dynamic. Not that I think they care, but this constant change is what’s going to make me dust off my resume and start applying elsewhere. Sending me to a new team every 2 months is stressful. Feels like I’m starting a new job 4-6 times a year. I hate it.
Our department has been re-org 3 times in the past 5 years (along with 4 or 5 other departments). The problem with this company is upper management has no vision, and no desire to actually "lead". Like a rudderless ship....
Looks like they are downsizing middle management and non technical who just manage resources
These positions may disappear soon across industry
And the worst part is that it's only a matter of time before middle management shitters re-bloat this streamlining.
