Is the layoff gonna happen through the month so we can expect any time or day in October or is it gonna happen for everyone in the company within one day or week?

A meeting will pop up on your calendar, it’s done face to face, and it is horrible. You see people leaving looking stunned and upset. The buildings are super quiet and tense. One time people were shouting obscenities in the parking structure on the main campus. At the end of the day people who are staying get pulled into a meeting to be told they are safe, everyone needs to regroup, don’t ask people if they were let go, be understanding and compassionate, don’t talk to reporters, and prepare to take on extra work.

I thought that was what they did when they got bad reviews.
When it happens everyone will be dying to leave.
Remember there have been many su----e s during layoffs at Q during layoffs. Better to get it over with fast.
Regardless of the date, being laid off is always a horrible experience. Best of luck in your job search. It can be really frustrating when companies post job openings but never actually hire anyone. This has been going on since the previous rounds of layoffs. If your boss tells you that a particular company is hiring, it's best not to get your hopes up too much. You will probably have a better chance of finding a job in another state.
