Its been confirmed from great sources that estimates are:
100% of CEO/CFO
5% of VP/SVP
10% of Sr Directors
15% of Directors/
25% of Principals will be impacted
30% of Sr Staff
20% of Staff
15% of Eng/Sr Eng
50% will come from Asia since the markets are so slow.
Sr. Directors and Directors are the targets beyond Asia. People are saying N1 visas will be canceled. But there is more money if they get rid of Directors and Sr. Directors.
Since they are not offering volunteer opportunities it looks like a lot of old timers would get impacted
People who are here for more than 20 years or plus .
Also severance would be capped for these people .
If you are not cutting in your boss on your side gig like property management or real estate sales you are on the chopping block. This mostly applies to Senior Staff and Staff engineers as the other junior engineers are the ones who do the actual work and don't have time for side gigs.
They already hit principal and sr staff, this time staff, sr eng and eng.
