A word of advice. If you're going to join the union, take the STO 999 route. The Union that represents the district is forced to vote with the call centre. This means any vote is passed based on if the call centre likes their deal.

Fully lawful to join or form a union. It doesn’t mean that the company likes it. Nor does it mean they won’t retaliate in small ways. This has been my experience with this company.

I would be careful talking about going union on here. I realize it’s anonymous but there are members of management on here. Unions are more fair play, there is strength in numbers, employers know this which is why the companies don’t want them. I fully support unions and currently belong to one which is why I’m writing this. If you sincerely desire to belong to a union reach out to them, they will reply.

Shows online that sto technician current rate is $51.37 for just a 4 or 5 year progression.
So how do we in different areas get this organized as a full group of Operations Techs ?
