Some trains on digital are getting vague, "mandatory" meetings from their senior Director (so not train director, but the dir above them) one hour before the meeting.

Sounds like it's not being handled the same way on every team.
I got pinged by my sr director to hop on a call at the last min and she told me I was safe. I didn't get any "important business update" email or meeting invite so I think if you got that - that means you were impacted.
So are people saying that if it is a 1:1, it’s probably a layoff and if it is a short meeting with a whole team/most of it, then it is more likely the “post lay-off talk” for those remaining? Just trying to clarify since it seems like people are mentioning multiple different types of meetings.
Normally such communications are stating that they have finished notifying the impacted people. So, if you got that email, you may be safe. (This is coming from someone who did NOT get the invite and was notified of his layoff first thing this morning).
I was laid off. Meeting was titled Important Business Update. Sorry for the rest of you who that meeting coming.
I think if u got that email you're ok
We had an early call unannounced with our VP of network. We lost eight people last month they did not backfill those positions. I'm assuming these layoffs have been in preparations for months. Today we lost another staff member and from looking at it it looks like they went after high salaried people in our department at least. VP of network said there's people impacted were already notified early this morning the bulk of all the layoffs happened today and that no more would be occurring for the rest of the year.
In digital design and just got the “important business update” email too. Figure that I’m gone too
I'm got an important business update too in finance
Risk management has a mandatory meeting at 1045am for an "important business update". Here we go......
Which solution is this? retail, Rx, health, Aetna, etc?
I’m in digital health and haven’t heard anything.
Does that mean if you get the email you are getting laid off or it’s a call about layoffs in general?
Which trains so far?
