Do new grads typically get laid off even if they don’t make six figures? What do they look at when cost cutting

40 and over on the list, relax.
Qualcomm typically lays off long timers..you will likely be safe
From the company's point of view, it is trying to cut costs through layoffs (or to make up for the mistake of blindly expanding and frantically recruiting in previous years), theoretically layoffs should be prioritized for employees with poor performance or business lines that the company would like to terminate/shrink, but in practice, most of the layoffs usually turn out to be political cleansing of middle management to exclude dissenters. So I don't really think you have anything to worry about if you are not among the reasons mentioned above.
new grads first to go
Why you want to save yourself?
Let's be brutally honest if you are US citizen you do not want to work here if you are Indian this is a ticket out of He-l. GOOD LUCK
You are safe but this is the last place you want to start your career. It's stifling there you need a place to grow. This place will only offer you rsu s and then throw you away. But you will learn to f__k them before they f__k you.
