Thread regarding Optum layoffs

Just to make sure

Layoffs are done and the coming week will be business as usual, right?

I'm in a leadership role. I was told there will be more this month, most likely on 8/17. Another round in September and another in October. I don't know what departments are affected when, but this round seems to be focused on middle management so if you're in an entry level position you're probably ok for now. Get your resume ready and start networking. I wouldn't jump ship until I got my severance, but it's good to be prepared.

Already told by my manager to prepare for more in 24. He said he will do my best to put in a good word for me but who knows.

This was not the first week of layoffs, they will continue. They are doing it this way to avoid WARN act.
