Lost a LOT of digital folks (design, copy, A11y, POs, PMs, scrum masters, engineers, etc.) and it's only Monday. When will (this round) end?!

Engineering and architecture got cut too.
I hate to be the bearer of bad news but it was more or less confirmed that more layoffs or coming.
Ok, when I first commented I was only referring to 5 folks and I was speaking for them being not very impactful. There obviously have been many many more layoffs and I dont know those folks. So I apologize for the harsh comment earlier.
For those of you who posted the folks at Digital who were laid off did not make an impact have no idea what you are talking about. The key person that we work with in Digital was laid off and this person knew everything about the system. I’m in shock!
a chunk of the digital team that's gone is the inclusive design/accessibility design department. terrible.
Most people I know that got let go from Digital are awesome, smart people who worked really hard and were passionate about their work. People who post cr-ppy things are just trolls or unhappy people. Don’t let them get you down.
Most folks who I know that got let go within Digital hardly made any difference to the team they were on
Can’t blame individuals but Digital also over hired just because a budget was given to them and they did not have better ideas to spend that money.
Agreed getting hit hard for a small group. Any idea how many people from digital have been cut?
Our network VP said today was the hit there's going to be no more layoffs the rest of the year. This is done at an unscheduled meeting we were all pulled together in at 8:30 this morning
