Once fully integrated into the cvs organization, there will be impacts. Likely safely this round
I hope so. We were doing just fine until they showed up
Acquisitions won't be affected --- yet. You don't usually begin reorganizing your acquisitions until you're able to assess them fully by watching how they're operating, unless it was a rescue acquisition. If they're burning through capital, then that could justify some accelerated reorganizing. CVS will eventually work to see where they can save money by consolidating vendors and other contracted services. Think about the move from WebEx to Microsoft teams. These are kind of fringe consolidations. Later, HR departments and the like will be consolidated. CVS will keep what they think works and makes sense, but sunset what doesn't.
me not oakie, poor cvs blokie
Did IR mention “synergies” in their acquisition announcement? There’s your answer.
Primary Care is the new goal base model for this company, rather than pharmacy itself. Unless they have case managers and data type people doing jobs that can be combined with people doing that same thing in other departments, like aetna, i doubt oakstreet will take a hit,
I highly doubt Oak Street will be impacted. These one stop shops for senior citizens are a huge push for all healthcare companies. And Oak Street as well as Signify will be feeders into the CVS pharmacies.
Oakies be okay dun worry
Did the PR and IR folks say anything about “synergies” in the acquisition announcement? If so, there’s your answer.
