Can anyone tell us if the saving grace clothing by line is selling at your stores? How is the customer reacting to the replacement of their favorite brands? Michael Kors is the new Ralph Lauren. Fit and fabric we are being told is the same, but it’s not! Also just curious if your stores are making sales plans? Thought customers were buying more on line but the “M” sales look to also be down.

Karen Scott's sizes were dependable. Which "new" brand does the same?
The idea to reinvent our private brand is a good one. They were stale. We are taking the best of each brand and merging them into the 3 remaining. There was too much duplication with with the 6 brands.
On 34th will do the same… we will learn from the first year, and adjust styles and colors accordingly.
The colors for the new disaster on 34 brand are absolutely horrible. The styles include wide leg pants–suitable for under 30 something's only. This idea of bringing in no-name brands is precisely what lead to Bed, Bath, and Beyond's demise. I told BBB that over 3 yrs ago.
The On 34th brand is rarely purchased at my store. Customers still prefer to buy Karen Scott, what’s left of Alfani and Charter Club, and Last Act and Backstage.
Kors suits are exactly the same as Lauren, just different name. For 34th our store is outselling the large Metro Detroit area stores. I like the pants I got for work. Cheap after my Macy's money. Reg size t-shirts are undersized.
The Michael Kors is nice. Some of the On 34th is nice but most of the color choices are absolutely horrendous 😫. The rebranding of Charter,Alfani and Karen Scott is ridiculous and confusing to myself and customers. It should have been left alone and updated some of the styles. Plus people want better vendors. They have shrunk those down and brought in junk. Its just depressing.
Not good. Items are full price everyday and customers will only buy it at 50%+ or last act.
It is exactly the same suiting, only the label has changed
