Employees that end up on PIPs

I had many colleagues who were hardworking and dedicated employees but who ended up on PIP.
Moreover, there may be more PIPed individuals like that than there are slackers who nevertheless manage to hold onto their jobs and continue to be appreciated here.
Do you think so too?

Wait until demotion of position and pay starts to happen to people without a PIP. It'll be disguised as part of reorg or realignment.

The traditional PIP might have meant for low performance. But in New North phase, it means the mngt wants to save severance pay for construction. DR/HR just make sure that the emp does not sue NM for wrongful termination.
If you get PIP'd don't underestimate urself to be a CR-P. Just feel proud that you have done your part of contribution for the skysCRAPer!

When a offshore resource comes onsite the very next moment a NM employee in the team gets PIPed.

If your work location is Franklin that adds up to the eligible criteria for PIP.

If your salary crosses the midpoint range for your band then you become eligible for PIP.

I have never heard of anyone who didn't deserve to be on a PIP. People don't realize that NM culture is on the lower end when it comes to accountability compared to other companies, so if you got on a PIP, it's taken A LOT to get there. More than likely the people that may seem like they don't deserve it have a ton of things going on behind the scenes that you have no idea about and isn't public knowledge because of how bad it is.
