Thread regarding Fossil Inc. layoffs

senior leadership now reporting to consulting firm

save money - cut half of the SR VP and VP, way too top heavy. They have proven they cant do it, so now consultants will make all the decisions. Too many have been with Fossil for way too long. Not interested in any new ideas unless they get the credit or can steal it.

I sense a small layoff this upcoming huddle and early next year, just like we had beginning of this year, there will be a massive layoff and possibly new ownership of this firm thinks there can be any profit salvaged

Why outsource at all...could be that was the thing that ultimately caused the rapid decline. Think about it! Outsource and supposedly make more $$ cover bad investment decisions OR leave the jobs here ( where there is less copy/paste) and continue to make $$...may be a little up and down here and there but loyalty goes a longer way. I for one no longer purchase the products...all...not just the one with the actual branded name attached to it.

Why don't they just outsource ALL positions to India including CEO. Save at least 60 percent of labor and infrastructure costs. The highest overhead would be the few brick and mortar stores. How does delisting work? Does the stock have to be under a $1 for a certain amount of time?
Another scenario is just sell the Fossil name and get it over with. Maybe Target or Walmart could buy the brand.

They are all reporting to the consultants now, agree cut down on the sr vp and regular vp's. Too many of them. We all saw the lists of who was reporting to who...cut it in half and save a few million
