@1mmg+1o3Bu0ci It's really a new system. We have to put our vacation in Clarity until the end of August as well, because it won't transfer to new system in September.

Silly for either of you to assume this company is trying to do employees ANY favors right now! Much more about having a clean integration into a new system and not having to spend a ton of money supporting a lengthy rollout/warranty period for this software.

@1mmg+1o3Bu0ci You might be on to something. You often need multiple years of W2s when going through a background check, depending on what company/service your new company uses to do their background checks.

We were told to get our W2/paystubs off the current HR site because it will be lost when the new one takes effect this month so we wont be able to pull them after that if we ever need them. think they told us to do that because they're trying to help us out and save all our tax docs and stubs for the layoff or is it really a new system?

End of the pay period really has nothing to do with it. Very few, if any, are going to be done working the day they’re notified.

The end of the current pay period is also a good indicator

Usually it's a random call out of the blue letting you know you've been let go. It's rarely scheduled beforehand and we normally don't know it's coming until we get hit. May the odds be ever in your favor

Will it be a random call or is this a scheduled call already?

Your leader may not have had the training if they are impacted, if the whole team is safe, or if a higher-up leader will be handling the layoffs for any number of reasons. So I don't think you can tell from that.

A huge stack of boxes in the mail areas are waiting for you to put your sh-t in and leave. Made it real seeing them all there. It’s sad

Is it safe to assume that if our direct leaders didn’t have any of the WFR trainings that we are safe?

What is WFR?

No need to keep posting these. This has been confirmed for a while now. Yesterday’s WFR training made it crystal clear.
