Probably VMC specialists at EMEA will not survive the reorg, as the results are not justified this expensive sales operation.
Core sales can easily care of the VMC sales also, when BD will simplified the business model.

No, cloud division will not be spared. Have a plan b in place, update your resume, start networking. Sales in general will be heavily impacted.
The VMware cloud value proposition is undifferentiated and weak. So, reorg will affect them in the same way it will impact all teams across the company. There are no sacred cows.
I feel like the best bet is, is to be not specialized.
